About...
Who is Bee?

From an adolescent, writing and being in front of the camera came naturally to Bee. Although she was interested in becoming a doctor to cure cancer, her family saw a spark in her when it came to entertaining and speaking in public. Watching the three day documentary of Oprah's Legends Ball one night, Bee knew she wanted to do that; inspire and bring others together while writing about it from a different perspective. A couple years later, Bee was granted the opportunity to intern with WXYZ Channel 7 anchor Carolyn Clifford her senior year in high school. Here, her aspirations were confirmed. Working closely with Carolyn Clifford and other high esteemed anchors in the city of Detroit like Stephen Clark and now retired Diana Lewis was an experience she would never forget. A current senior at Oakland University, Bee studies journalism with a minor in media productions.
"To have longevity in this industry, I had to learn to display and brand myself."
IAmBee started as a small way to showcase her talents, one year later it has taken off and is a major part of Bee's life. "In order to get a chance, start small and make it for yourself. No one is going to hand it to you. Create opportunities for yourself." One month after debuting IAmBee, her first article (Meeting The One - Tamar Braxton) was published in the motivational Top Flight Magazine later offering her a contributing writer position with the publication. Writing for Top Flight opened doors for the aspiring journalist and has allowed her to meet multiple celebrities as well as bringing awareness to different subjects.
After graduating from Oakland University, Bee plans on relocating to New York or California. IAmBee continues to grow and Bee will take her audience every step of her journey to empower and inspire her peers. "Dreams are limitless and anything is possible. I've experienced life for 21 years, but I didn't start to live until I stepped out of my comfort zone."
