JUSTFAB
Here you will discover my "Top Five" monthly/weekly/daily finds and or obsessions. I have fallen in love with them & you'll see why. Take a moment to discover for yourself my Top Five. Enjoy!

A n i t a B a k e r
Anita is by far one of THE best R&B artist this world has seen. Born in Ohio, she began singing at the early age of 12, but later moved and grew up in the great city of Detroit. Anita has a three powerful octave range and this captivating vocalist has won 8 Grammy Awards from her albums "Rapture", "Giving You The Best That I Got", "Compositions", and "Rhythm of Love". Some would say a modern day version of Anita Baker is Lala Hathaway. If that name sounds familiar it's because she is the daughter of the legendary Donny Hathaway. All their voices have a deep mystery that can't be touched. Some of my favorite songs by Anita Baker are Just Because, No One In The World, and Body and Soul. Some of my favorite songs by Lala Hathaway are I'm Coming Back, the remake of Forever, For Always, For Love by Luther Vandross, and Heaven Knows. Both of these artist vocals are special in their own way, and each take you on a mystic journey throughout their songs. Anita recently debuted her seventh studio album "Only Forever" in 2012. The first single was a remake from Tyrese's 1999 album called "Lately". This cover had the charts wanting more. Lets face it, no one in the world can sing a song like Anita Baker. Being a true fan of her work, I found it odd that she would release a cover as her first single instead of a new song. Nevertheless, I was still impressed with how she made the song her own and touched it as only Anita Baker can. With "Only Forever" she showed her fans that she hasn't missed a beat. This along with other reasons is why I LOVE Anita Baker.
THRIFTING...

NecoleBitchie

Pinterest is something that I use everyday. Without knowing it I could be on here for hours thinking that minutes have passed. To simplify this, Pinterest is an on-line pin board. Visuals are everywhere. The beauty of this social site is you don't have to add pictures if you don't want too. There are pictures for years and years on this site. So many ideas come from here. I personally use this as a wish list for new fashion styles, got multiple ideas for my new room [you all will see soon]. It's just an everyday life type of app. To the right is my personal profile on pinterest. I pin things from beauty and fashion, to weddings and tattoos. Once you make a page you will be hooked. Don't knock it till you try it.
NecoleBITCHIE has made a house hold name for herself with her gossip column and her own personal blog, not to mention she's gorgeous! If you don't know her story it is definitely one to look up. One day I came across Necole's personal blog. I already enjoyed her gossip on the hottest celebs, but this was a different side of her. Her blog touched me in a way that can't be describe and left me inspired at a time when I felt like giving up on everything even the production of this website. Necole's quirkiness and sense of style is felt on her blog and will leave you wanting to do more. Not to mention the gossip column keeps you up to date. If she ever sees this *crosses fingers* she is one of the reason why this site is up today.
Thrifting has definitley become a hobby of mine. Not gonna lie, in the beginning I thought this was a crazy idea. Who would want to shop at a store where other people have worn the clothes before? Haha, sprisingly in the end it would be me. A couple years ago a friend of mine and I went out to lunch. She always had a sense of style but in the recent times I saw her, her clothes were unique and one of a kind. I asked her what store did she get her clothes from and she simply replied, "Thrifting." Thrifting?! What in the world. It was like she spoke a different language. After that lunch date, we decided our next outing would be to go thrifting. I've never been the same since. Now you can't find me at the malls or little boutiques because I've been spoiled by the great finds and amazing prices I get. In certain stores today, twenty dollars will usually get you one shirt plus tax. Not thrifting. For twenty dollars, I've left with at LEAST five shirts and maybe a pair of pants. Great deal right? I know. Above you see some of the outfits that have come from thrifting. While thrifting, one must have the "eye". You can't go and expect your clothes/accessories to be seen with the naked eye. Sorry to tell you, you actually have to L O O K. Yes I hated this part, but once I got the hang of it I realized this was in fact the beauty of it. I've gone thrifting so much that the employees know my name. Yep, I'm obsessed. If you haven't gone thrifting, try it. It'll be slightly odd at first, but in the end you won't be breaking your bank and come out with amazing finds. I'll leave you with a quote my gram once told me, "DON'T GO BROKE, TRYING TO LOOK RICH!"
The name speaks for itself. JUSTFAB is an online store where women can find the latest trends in fashion with a good budget. Designers have become so expensive nowadays and a girl like me isn't going to spend one hundred dollars on ONE pair of shoes. I'm sorry I just can't do it. I've always seen the JUSTFAB commercials on TV and decided one day to check it out. Oh i checked out alright. Good thing about me is I know when I'm going overboard in shopping. It was just so beautifully overwhelming. Heels, Platforms, Sandals, Boots galore. Okay back to my point. A lot of you may know the fabulous Kimora Lee Simmons. She is the President and Creative Director over the fabulosity of JUSTFAB. So naturally I knew I would come out a happy camper. I ordered my andaman (wedge sandal) and fresca (clutch) on a Tuesday and they were on my porch by Saturday. Yes! Cute shoes and fab service all for $39.95 with FREE shipping. I felt like I hit the lotto. Point of the matter is you need to check out JUSTFAB if you haven't already. Kudos to Kimora.

Frame Me

Cheap. Lazy. Budget. Three words that describe my life. This may sound wacky, but thrifting has changed my life in all aspects. Hence the three choice words. Yep I'm cheap. I've said it before and I'll say it again, thrifting has spoiled me. Why spend billions on something when you can get more for your buck and it'll probably be something unique that everyone won't have. This is hard to admit; I'm SOMEWHAT lazy. Yes, I love the mall but I'm not about to waste my whole day window shopping and buying things I don't need. I can be multilazy at home. Example: online shopping, sitting on the couch, Sex and the City marathon, probably eating. See how multilazy is better? I knew you would. Lastly: Budget. Yeah I love to spend money, but I love to save it as well. I'm the girl that "balls on a budget". NOW to the point! One day I was being multilazy and came across Zenni Optical. It’s essentially a Lens Crafters on the internet. They have all types of styles with different trendy selections. The photo to the left shows my purchase from Zenni Optical. I love my glasses, they give me that sophisticated look with a spice of style. The process is easy, but it will be helpful to have a copy of your prescription from your eye doctor with you to fill out on the site. Nevertheless, who said you have to have a prescription to order from Zenni Optical. Want some great specs at a great price, go to Zenni Optical. I'm definitely a happy customer.

chef ROBLE
EUCALYPTUS SPEARMINT CANDLE

Chef Roblé is known for his outstanding culinary talents. This celebrity chef has provided culinary services for President Barack Obama, Michael Jackson, John Legend, and Leonardo DiCaprio just to name a few. Roble started working in professional kitchens at the age of 15. His talents took him all the way to the Culinary Institute of America and later to own his own catering business Roblé & Co. Roblé also has a collaboration clothing line "Food Porn" which is sold online. His reality TV show airs on Bravo TV with a spicy cast sure to keep you craving for the next season.
This three wick sensation can turn any mood into a relaxed one and is Bath and Body Works Best Seller. Bath and Body Works ensures its the worlds best candle. Some candle huh? I burn mine at LEAST three times a week. This stress relief aromatherapy is made up of the highest concentration of fragrance oils and an exclusive blend of vegetable wax and lead free wicks. It burns for 25-45 hours and is sure to fill a room with its fragrance.

Ahh, Fall. My FAVORITE time of year when my two favorite "F's" come together: Fashion & Food. Fall brings out the best of my style. I live for layers, cider, and fresh warm DONUTS! Cider Mills and Apple Orchards get great business from me this time of year. I urge my audience to experiment with different colors, don't be subjected to stay in the neutrals though the Brown family are classic, haha :) try something new. Add a pop of color to that outfit with a bold scarf or lip. I also enjoy the fall season because it gives me a reason not to feel too bad about my "bad hair days". When this happens I throw on a beanie and keep it moving. Beanies are so versatile, you can dress them up or down so they are a great addition to your wardrobe. Though I love prints, I make sure not to go too crazy with them. A flamboyant print can turn your ensemble to ensemNO. Some prints are a hit and miss, so when in doubt try to keep it simple. Clearly, I love fall if you can't tell. Remember, don't shy away from color and think of me when you sip on some hot cider!
P.S. Pinterest can inspire alot of fall outfits, make sure to look on there for inspiration.

JAN 2014
This year I've decided to inspire my audience anyway possible. My "Top Five" is slightly different this month. I chose to show you all who inspires me. As you'll notice, there are more males than females on this list. It was very easy to choose the women, as for the men it was slightly challenging. I had to seriously sit down and think why these males inspire me. Scroll below to see why these are my "Top Five" Inspirations!

La La seems to be a very humble woman. I've watched La La grow into the person she is since her TRL days. From here she's continued to climb the success ladder. | I claim her as my older sister in my head | To be quite honest, La La is one of the reason why I chose the field I'm in. Everything she did was with grace and always brighten someone's day with her contagious smile. In recent years she's let America into her home by having her own reality tv show called "La La's Full Court Life" which gave an insight to her daily life juggling being a wife, mother, multi-media personality, and business woman. Her current ventures are in her cosmetic line MOTIVES and her chic clothing line 5th And Mercer. On January 28, 2014, La La will add author to her title. La La will soon release her book which is co-authored by Karen Hunter called "The Love Playbook." In a interview with Us Weekly La La said, "I'm so excited to be sharing my insights on love and relationships. I hope this book shows women that they can overcome obstacles in their love life and be truly happy!" I can't wait to read this book and write a review on it for I Am Bee.

Terrence Jenkins
Terrence J has always struck me as an inspirational male. He and I have one major thing in common; we're all about positivity. Since his days being a host for BET's 106 and Park, he now co-anchors E! news. His growth throughout this industry is impeccable and I love to see an African American male succeed in all he does. Terrence is a great role model for adults and young men. With each project, Terrence shows why he was picked for that job. In 2013 he released his first book, "The Wealth of My Mother's Wisdom." I believe men and women can learn a great deal from Terrence J and become inspired.

Tamera Mowry-Housley

My close friends know this month’s list wouldn’t be complete without the one I call “my twin.” Non-other than Tamera Mowry-Housley! I’ve admired Tamera since her hit sit-com “Sister, Sister” with her twin sissy Tia Mowry-Hardrict. Tamera is such an inspiration in my life. She’s not afraid of being the traditional conservative girl. I respect Tamera for sticking to her values and not budging for anyone. She’s recently been the reality TV star of her and her sister’s show “Tia and Tamera” which aired on the Style Network for three seasons. Though her reality TV show won’t be returning for a fourth season, Tamera is already co-hosting the new daytime talk show “The Real.” Alongside with her is Tamar Braxton, Loni Love, Adrienne Bailon and Jeannie Mai. | By the way if you haven’t watched “The Real” you are missing out! Get caught up on the talk show by going to YouTube where FULL episodes can be watched | I love Tamera. Everything about her inspires me. God willing; one day I’ll meet her :)
Diddy

Diddy is an inspiration to men and women. From what I hear this man doesn’t sleep. I believe this is one of the many reasons why he is as big as he is today. Diddy inspires me to keep pushing and never stop believing in my dream. In all honesty, Diddy keeps me on my toes. Do y’all realize Diddy started as a intern at Uptown Records? Now he’s doing everything. With a net worth estimated at $580 million Diddy is one of the richest figures in hip hop. “The Revolution Will Be Televised” is the slogan for Revolt TV which is owned by Diddy. With Revolt TV, Diddy has made a network that’s music oriented like the original “MTV” if you’d like to say. Original music channels like VH1 and MTV have lost their music-oriented focus and are now based on reality TV shows. We live in a world that's altered each day; one day you're in the next day you're out. Diddy shows why he continues to stay relevant and a million dollar brand. He's not just a businessman; he's a business, man.

Gentlewoman
I came across this book on accident scrolling through my timeline on Twitter. This year's goal was about expanding my knowledge in books. The cover is honestly what caught my eye. Once I saw the title I went straight to Amazon to learn more about this 'Gentlewoman.' With some books, Amazon gives you the option to read a couple of pages inside the book. Within the first few sentences, I was hooked. I was intrigued and wanted to read more. Gentlewoman can satisfy women of all ages. Ladies I urge you to get a copy of this book. Though I'm no where near finished reading it, I've learned so much in the Prelude. Class is back in session. Get your hands on a copy of this masterpiece. Below I put a snippet of Mr. Bereola's words, take a look.

GENTLEWOMAN: Etiquette For A Lady, From A Gentleman
II. Lost Crown: Cold War
ENITAN O. BEREOLA II
"Don't believe the great lie. You don't have to be Ladylike to command respect; you just have to be born. Your worth was determined the moment you were birthed. Your soul is legendary. A man's opinion alone should never change who you are - your own conviction should. Your own thirst for knowledge is the reason you're still turning these pages. Its never too late to be a Lady. Take your crown back.

Let's cut to the chase, most of us are blessed beyond measure. I know I am. There are some days, ahh who am I kidding, most days where I don't count my blessings and thank God for His grace and mercy. I'm getting better at that. I've always been a fan of Nas. Lyrically he changed the Hip Hop game forever. One of my favorite songs from Nas is ‘I gave you Power.’ Yes, it's quite graphic but his metaphor is genius. In 2010 he collaborated with Damian Marley on an album called 'Distant Relatives.' Count your blessings stood out and put things into perspective for me. The mix with Reggae and Hip Hop is brilliant. I play this song at least once a day. It's different from the Pop and Hip Hop we hear on the radio daily, but I'm always up for change especially when its good. I'm sure you'll love this song as much as I do. Don't forget, count your blessings. Someone out there wishes they had half of what you do.

When LaLa announced that she would be releasing a book, I was ecstatic! LaLa can do no wrong in my book, that's how much I love her. I've followed her career since she was hosting on MTV's TRL (Total Request Live). LaLa has a certain way that she carries herself that I respect. Like others, I wondered what the book would be about and would it be a good read. January 28th came and here I was purchasing the book (I purchased The Love Playbook and Gentlewoman at the same time) *covers hands over face*. From an early age, LaLa loved the game of basketball and titles most of her chapters with definitions you will hear throughout a typical basketball game. The first few chapters gave insight on her life and humble beginnings.
This book is not formal, it's like you're sitting across from La at a coffee shop conversing over hot tea. At least it was for me. I felt like I was listening and getting insight from a close girlfriend. LaLa also opened up about the beginning of her and Carmelo Anthony's relationship. What they have is true friendship that turned into love that no one can break apart even if they tried. Overall, this was a great read being her first book. I'm sure I'll be reading it again soon.

Since the thought of this website, I wanted to feature Jasmine on I Am Bee. Jasmine introduced me to thrifting, if you remember I talked about her in my first Top Five. She has a creative mind and displays her creativity through her style and blog. It's an everyday lifestyle for her, not for show. Jasmine aspires to be a fashion buyer for stores like Nordstorm, Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. In the future she sees herself owning her own high end retail boutique.
I love going to Fashion From the Hart because Jasmine keeps up to date with all things fashion (which keeps me up to date) along with being a student at Howard University. Going to her blog shows me what new trends to look for, what not to wear and even gives me ideas on outfits I would never think to put together. She finds inspiration in everything, literally. "I love that there are no limits with fashion; you have the freedom to be who you want to be whenever you want to change it up. Take risks, be daring, do whatever you want." -J. Hart

I know you're probably thinking what in the world is Waist Training? It's a body shaper that accelerates weight loss through compression, perspiration and micro massage. It shapes and slims the body and flattens your stomach. It is recommended to wear between 8-10 hours a day. The Leila Long Corset is my favoite. When I first purchased the corset I could barely close the hooks and eyes, but now I'm on the second closure. Ladies, if you want to get a jump start on losing weight as well as lifting and flattening your stomach purchase a corset.

People let me tell you about my bestfriend in my head of course! If you don't know who EJ is you'll definitely know his name in the future. The 'Rich Kid' isn't a main cast member but when he makes an appearance it's sure to be noticed. His flamboyant personality and style speaks for itself which is why he reminds me of a modern day André Leon Talley. EJ is studying event management and design at New York University and makes sure to keep his fans up to date with him by his Instagram @ejjohnson_. EJ is comfortable and confident in his skin. I wouldn't be surprised if he's offered his own reality tv show on a prime fashion and entertainment network such as E! or Bravo soon.
To all the people on IAmBee who love fashion, there's an app for you! Trendabl is the place to go to find and post the latest trends. It's essentially an Instagram Fashion app. Trendabl is different from other apps because it allows you to shop and purchase new finds. Trendabl is free and inspires me when it comes to my outfits. Below are pictures of the app to explain what I wrote above.

I have always looked up to Jacque Reid as an African American journalist. When I was younger, I remember listening to her correspond on the Tom Joyner Morning Radio show driving to school. Currently, Jacque is the co-host of NBC 4 New York's New York Live and the Editor in Chief of SingleandLivingFab.com a lifestyle magazine to encourage the single woman. With more than 15 years in journalism, Jacque has been an example to aspiring journalists such as myself to keep pushing and never giving up.

Terry-Ann Phillips
The Lady Loves Couture

Fashion has no rules. If you have an eye for it and can make it come to life on a runway, the streets of New York or anywhere you have accomplished the definition. Terry Ann Phillips designs are about class, elegance and sophistication. Surprisingly, Terry didn't want to be a fashion designer but her purpose kept following her until she realized she was meant to do this.

Terry went through a lot of soul searching and prayer before she accepted her calling. She started by talioring vintage finds into the vision she wanted. Her signature skirts are what she's focused on. "My ultimate goal is to create a piece for every shape and size and also have it for years to come." Her skirts have been seen everywhere from Essence Luncheons to gracing Red Carpets.

Fashion icons like Ralph Lauren and Chanel are the people Terry looks up too. "I put my standards high. I call myself the female version of Ralph Lauren." There have been days when Terry wanted to give up and people have spoke life to her and encourage her to keep going. "As much as I wanted to run away from it I can't because I feel if I don't do this I'm disappointing God."
Comfortable in her purpose Terry is going full force with her line! I recently had the pleasure of seeing her collection in person. Pictures don't do them justice. I love everything about Terry's journey and I'm excited to see her future designs.

Spoiled Rottyn
Nameplate necklaces have made their way back to the fashion scene and Spoiled Rottyn is the place to get them. Ladies can be spoiled in gold, rose gold or silver necklaces. The chains range from 14" to 22". AaLona Robertson, founder of Spoiled Rottyn created her business for the unique custom thinking lady. Carrie Bradshaw, main character in the television show and movie Sex and the City had a necklace similar to the picture below. In this particular episode, Carrie was in Paris and believed to misplace her personalized necklace. She later found it in the inside lining of her purse. From that moment, the audience could tell how much she cherished her necklace.

The same goes for the vision AaLona had for other ladies with unique names. For more information on being Spoiled Rottyn, follow Spoiled Rottyn's Instagram page at @ShopSpoiledRottyn . For personal questions, email GetSpoiled@SpoiledRottyn.com or call 917.525.3717!

During the school year I don't have much time to read outside of my assigned books. Every summer I try to find a good read to dive into to give my cranium a break from my typical AP Stylebook and other journalism reads. My cousin found a treasure read for us this summer. Revenge Wears Prada. It is the sequel to the incredible The Devil Wears Prada.

Though I haven't had a chance to read it I am excited about where this book will lead. When it comes to inspiration and inspiring myself, I turn to one of my favorite movies The Devil Wears Prada. How do I get inspiration from that movie? One of the reasons I'm inspired by it because of Andrea's perseverance. When she was supposed to break, she didn't.
There have been mixed reviews about the sequel, nonetheless I believe it will be an enjoyable read. The sequel begins 10 years after Andrea leaves Miranda in Paris. On the day of her wedding, Andrea finds a letter from her soon to be mother in law to her soon to be husband about why he shouldn't marry her. Isn't that juicy?!

I wonder how the relationship between Miranda and Andrea will be when they see each other? Oh yes and the 'real Emily' and Andrea are now bestfriends who have started their own Bridal Magazine. Yes it gets better and better. I'm excited to see how this revenge ends. Once my cousin and I finish the read we will more than likely do our own review of the book. What are some books you are excited to read over the summer? Send me an email to let me know!

It seems as if everyone these days has their own version of a blog. Sadly, most of them are the same because everyone is trying to be 'different' when they are doing the same thing. This is not the case for Amber who's In Hur Lane. I came across her blog because of her Instagram pictures. What she decided to capture was unique. As well as her working in retail at one of my favorite stores, Nordstrom.

Staying up to date with the latest trends is hard. I tried to do it but, it didn't work. Amber keeps her audience up to date especially with Top Shop coming to Michigan. I would go to her page and see the inside scoop of everything. Everything On Hur Radar is amazing. She is definitely a personal stylist on her way to the top. If you haven't visited In Hur Lane, do it today and you won't be disappointed.

P.U.R.E. Brand Accessories
Andre Leon Talley
Tracee Ellis Ross

Every now and then, I take the opportunity to venture throughout Instagram or social media in general to find gems. One day I came across P.U.R.E. Brand Accessories and knew they had to have a feature on IAmBee. Not only does the name have a unique meaning, but the brand speaks for itself. I was able to speak with the P.U.R.E. Brand creator and you'll see why they are featured.
IAmBee: 1. Why did you start P.U.R.E. Brand Accessories?
PBA: I started P.U.R.E Brand Accessories with a friend of mines actually. We started it because we wanted to show case our talents in fashion in a positive meaningful way. I am very big on street wear and always have been and he is very big on designer brands so we decided to come up with our own team and start our own brand.

PBA: The difference between our brand and other brands is we want to master accessories starting with Hats. We really focus on having the best quality hats we could find and put the best quality material on them that we could find as well. Here on the North West where we are from (Seattle, Washington) you do not see many accessory brands. You see a lot of clothing brands that focus on the norm such as shirts and sweaters. We wanted to start out different.
IAmBee: Will P.U.R.E. stick to 'Accessories' or will venture out to P.U.R.E. Designs for clothes and other fashions?
PBA: We started out with accessories for most part but we did release one jersey this summer, which was our maroon Batters Choice baseball jersey. It sold really well I may say. Also we have hand crochets beanie pieces coming back for adults and kids. But yes we do have a few clothes designs for the up and coming seasons. This is our most asked question so we have to drop more clothes pieces for our supporters.

PBA: The name P.U.R.E came from a conversation my friend and I were having when we where thinking of Brand names. We where talking about qualities we wanted our brand members to have so that we could build a team and make it work. I said everyone needs to have pure loyalty in there heart or our team will not work. The word PURE was stuck in my head and a few days went by.
I was writing down qualities our team has to have on a piece of paper and the first four qualities where Perseverance, Unity, Respect, Equality. As I was getting ready to right down the fifth, which was honesty, I stopped and it hit me. I had acronyms that spelled out P.U.R.E. Pure was the meaning that was stuck in my head for days and I didn’t understand why until I started righting our list of qualities for my team.
I know I didn't disappoint when I said I found a gem. IAmBee is based in Michigan and P.U.R.E Brand Accessories is based out of Seattle, Washington. Their time is coming soon and they will be nationally known and having male and females walking around 'P.U.R.E.' Stay tuned for what this brand has to offer.
PBA: Fans will see P.U.R.E evolve in a lot of areas, starting with this up and coming fall and winter. Like I stated earlier, our brand is based out of Seattle, Washington and it is cold and rains a lot here. Especially in the fall and winter seasons; so our 2014 fall and winter lines will be specifically for cold climate weather. Also look forward to seeing us bring our kids accessories up a notch or two. We have been discussing a lot of ideas and they all are being directed towards the kid’s area of our brand.

Sarah Jakes
Lost and Found
Sarah Jakes is making a name for herself, and it's not being mega church Bishop T.D. Jakes daughter, but being a daughter of the King, who was lost and found.

Sarah is in this month's Top Five because of her incredible story and having courage to share it with the world. Not just the "glitz and the glamour" but the hardships she's endured through her journey just to incourage others to keep going as she has. Her life is a true testimony that needs to be heard. Not to mention her style and grace...thats another story.
When I first came across her story, I was shocked by not only how great she looks, but the power in the words she was saying. I have to admit, I was late to her story but going to her website caught me up. I loved the fact that she started a webisode series to show fans behind the scenes of her book tour. Every Tuesday or Thursday (can't remember which day) I would sit by my computer and wait for another webisode. Her story is true and very personable. Most of things she was saying about her self I could relate to my life. I had to know more! Below I've shared a couple episodes from the beginning of her series and a video about her personal opinion of style and fashion! Take a look and really listen to her story.

This motivational speaker has definitely changed the way I think about things in my life. His book 'Produced By Faith' talks about enjoying the true value of being successful without losing yourself. His story is unique because though he's in Hollywood he didn't 'sell out' as some like to call it. He stayed true to his values. I usually stand off with people like this because I think some do it for the 'hype' but his heart is truly into what he does. You can tell it's his passion.

The clip above is him speaking at a TED talk. I encourage you to watch the video. My outlook afterward was a complete 180. If you haven't read his story on where he is now, please do so. It's not only inspiring, but a true testimony. Hard work pays off.

I usually write long write ups for everything, but I believe Ms. Tracee speaks for itself. Her style is one thing, but that personality of hers is priceless. I love everything about her. The talented and beautiful star will be making households laugh this fall playing the wife of Anthony Anderson in a new ABC comedy entitled 'Black-ish.' The series premiere is Wednesday, September 24 at 9:30 p.m. EST. IAmBee will be sure to watch and keep you updated. Go Tracee!

How can I talk about fashion some months and not mention Andre Leon Talley? How rude of me, I do apologize. This "Editor at Large" has been on the scene for more than 25 years. He's scene trends come and go. I love everything about this man. Everything he does is a caculated move, whether it be in fashion or just in general.
"I don't tear down. I prefer to build up."-Andre Leon Talley

Starting out as an assistant to Andy Warhol for $50 a week, he has turned his life around in so many ways. I am so inspired by this man, not only for his love of fashion, but for his ambition. At 64-years-old he hasn't slowed down. I pray to have a drive as half as his one day.

Fall Fashion: Who What Wear
I am not a person who keeps up with trends all the time, I try to stay on top of them but trends happen everyday. Thankfully there are people who have careers in doing just that! One of my new obsessions: WHO WHAT WEAR. I absolutely LOVE this site. It covers everything fashion you can think of. For all those who are interested in pursuing a career in fashion, but don't know where to start or are at a stand still I advise you to take a look at this article "How To Land A Job In Fashion (No Matter Where You Live)." It has great advice and gave me a few pointers as well. For those who are being introduced to Who What Wear for the first time, no need to thank be because you'll be obsessed like I am. Visit Who What Wear today!

Let's be honest! When I found out about her tv show I was super excited. I knew it would be filled with fashion and BTS (behind the scenes) footage from which I could take notes! Though the series premiere is November 2nd, I was able to watch the first episode on line. I was glued to my computer (especially since there were no commercials). Watching House of DVF made me love fashion that much more. Of course there is catty drama, but in a classy way. The girls all want to become Diane's Brand Ambassador for DVF. I enjoyed every minute of this episode and can't wait until the next one. Make sure to watch House of DVF, Sundays 10/9c on E! You wont be dissapointed.

Karen Civil is the definition of a power woman. Is there anything she can't do?! I was first introduced to this entrepreneur by social media. To my surprise her website was dedicated toward an inside look on hip hop. Say what?! From that point forward I knew this woman was about her business and I needed to take note. Everything she does is inspiring and keeps this generation in the "know" of "lyrical phenomenons" as stated in her about page on karencivil.com. Her brand also offers interviews with the 'who's who' in the industry. Another title that can be added to her is motivational speaker. I've seen multiple events where she speaks to inspire those around her in hopes of them finding their drive and begin to live their dreams. #LiveCivil is more than a hashtag, it's a way of life. I know one day I will be graced with her presence, it's only a matter of time. Until then readers, #LiveCivil.

ANARCHY in the MONARCHY.
Set to premiere in March 2015, E! will have its first scripted drama series called 'The Royals'. Created by the 'One Tree Hill' visionary Mark Schwahn depicts the Royal family as more than just handsome and goddess statues that can't seem to stay out of the limelight. Though some are bashing the new adventures of the E! network, others are excited about the scripted series rather than watching E! reality television shows. I'm sure I will be glued to the tv when this series begins because from the looks of the trailor: IT'S JUICY. According to 'The Royals' Instagram page, "This hour-long drama will be edgy, sexy and scandalous!" Will you be watching?

South African model Roberta Whitney turned Actress has an eye for all things fashionable being the VP of Biz Dev for PRIV an on-demand beauty and wellness app. This actress, model beauty pro and super mom doesn't skip a beat.
